this card is a tribute to my best girlfriend, erin. many important events in our lives occurred at the beach, so when the challenge was no-pink-no-red-no-hearts, i knew i wanted to create the beach! i usually don't mix my stamping style (& SU! stuff) with my scrapbooking style (& creative memories stuff), but i whipped out the CM tools for this one, and i think i will keep them in my new stamping area so they get used more... it wasn't until i was almost finished with this card that i remembered something interesting: when erin lived in Kansas and i lived in Chicago, she was a CM consultant -- how funny that i pulled out my CM stuff for a card for her without consciously remembering that fact!

Such a creative use of paper and stamps. I love it!
Congratulations on a VSN winner.
