Oh, Jenny what a delightful challenge. Wish I could do more than one card for this challenge, but hopefully everyone will see me through my art! I had to use this challenge to create a card celebrating my DS's baptism.
When I watched Jenny's video chat, I knew instantly what stamps I would use. The Limited Edition 'SOUL paintings was inked with Stazon black onto acetate. I used the Spellbinder Labels 2 to cut the acetate. I stamped my bg image with the spiritual journey from Stampotique with Heritage Marvey sea foam ink onto Brazzill's light teal linen paper. Then it was a trip into Photoshop to copy a photo. I stamped journey and Life from the MM magnetic words and believe from the Just Rite lil' stampers.
Thanks so much for looking and taking the time to comment. This card is very special to me, as a Christian, nothing is more important than to know your children have professed faith in Jesus. Creating this card was a great gift to me, though I'll put it on his pillow tomorrow, he's coming home to us for a few days.

Susan, this is so beautiful and meaningful! There is nothing like watching your children baptized! Finally, they claim the Saviour as their own, apart from mom and dad's faith. I think it is then that we know God has been walking along side us. Thanks for sharing this moment!

I love it and even having a clear part of the card works for the theme of Baptism. Letting Jesus be seen no matter what!! I'm happy that you played and I love the card and the sentiments on it!!!

Oh, this card is so special Susan! It is so encouraging to me to see other people making professions of faith and as a mother it really pulls at the heart strings!
