The background was created using a stamp by Flourishes, Thinking of You. The bird was watercolored with reinkers, cut out, then mounted on an oval nestibility. The oval was stamped with so saffron before mounting the bird, giving it an appearance of shadowing. The inside of the oval was shaded with a distress ink...and then tied off with a gold sheer bow to keep the background monochromatic.
This was a fun challenge, today...and as always I learned something new! Thanks Steph! And thanks for taking a gander!

Traci, this is so pretty and so representative of that gorgeous pillow!
I love that beautifully colored bluebird! And all that intricate leaf cutting...wow, girl! That was a lot ofwork. Gorgeous background stamping and luscious bow, too.
