Well, this was a card I made for my local scrapbook store for a Valentines Day card swap. I just never got around to uploading it.
Todays challenge for the Limited Supplies, we were to use the color green in our cards. And of course limit to 2 embellishments. I tried, but hope it still works out for this challenge.
Here is my story:
I started out by stamping the elephant onto watercolor paper just flipped the paper over so it doesnt have the lines. I colored with prismacolor pencils, odorless mineral spirits, and blending stumps. I stamped the ear again, cut out, and attached using foam tape. I sponged lightly with blue ink for the sky and green for the grass. I used diamond glaze for the hearts for a shiny look. I used the cb swiss dots folder, lace border punch, and secured both pieces of c/s to the red base card. I used a MS butterfly punch for the buttterfly (2 pts for designer paper) and it is on the with glue dots. I punched a circle, cut it half, and sponged with yellow and mustard ink.
I stamped randomly flowers onto the green c/s as well. I added those lovely dots to the outer border to the image too. I added the ribbon to finish the card. This was really fun to do and the girls at the store. liked them too. TFL! Have a great night!

The elephant is too cute with that little heart at the end of his trunk. Sweet butterfly and really like the ribbon. Love the sun!

Such a happy card. I love the sun in the corner and your great colouring. Seems to me you are fine on the embellishments but maybe over on the layers, LOL.
