These are a few of the stick pins that I made to use as embelishments on my cards. I bought the head pins and beads in the bead department at Hobby Lobby and Jo-Anns. They didn't take long to make. The hardest part was keeping the pins straight. They weren't very straight when I took them out of the package. I used earing backs for the ends of the pins. These are not pointed end pins so you will have to tuck them through the knot of the ribbon bow.

Love these pins. I have always wanted to make some but I do not know how to attach the beads etc to the pin, do you use some sort of glue? Great idea to tuck into a bow.

Thanks, they are very easy to make. I did use a little dab of glue between a few of the beads, especially the bottom one to keep the others up at the top. Good luck!

Thank goodness my daughter made jewelry years ago. FYI - Buy them when they are 2 for 1 or 50% off. Walmart has some black pearl heads too...they are so much fun. And, great job on yours....LOVE THEM. They add so much to a card.

The pins that I bought have the decorative top on it already. The hard part is keeping the beads from sliping down so that is why you have to use a little dab of glue. Hope that helps.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their comments but I felt I needed to let you know that this was not my original idea. I found out about these on Sharon Johnson's blog. You can find her post at the link below.
By making these yourself it is very economical (after the original purchase of the beads) and you can make them the color you need to match your project.
Have fun and enjoy!
