This is for the Limited Supply Challenge Stretch Yourself. I kinda cheated. You see I actually had a batch of Valentines started YEARS ago. I'm not kidding...like 4 years ago. I intended them to be used for the ministry where I worked, so I needed quite a few. But I never finished them. I placed them in a box for *someday*. I thought about that box for the last 2 weeks. I sent some cards out earlier in the week, but needed a few more so I pulled out the box.
The cards were originally just stamped on white card stock. But inside on the top I had handwritten a note with the OLD name of our organization! ACK! So I couldn't use them right? Well, I decided to cut the cards in half, tape the front down on ruby red so the handwritten note is no longer seen...then the other half was taped inside.
I had to finish the front sentiment today and punch out the hearts. Made about 16 of these! You might be thinking it's a little late for Valentines this year. Well, unfortunately Late holiday cards are NOT a stretch for me! LOL!!
So where did I stretch???
.........Using Alphabet stamps. I never pull these out!
............Using a full background stamp (but technically I stamped that 4 years ago!) It was a stretch then too. I have a hard time getting background stamps even.
..........And finally the biggest stretch...pulling out an incomplete project and finishing it!!! LOL!!
Thanks for the challenge Judy!!

Sure do identify with the finishing unfinished projects! Learned that from knitting and embroidery the hard way - finish what I'm on before starting something else. It's SO hard to go back - but you've done a great job with these.
