I made 8 of these little journals, one for each of my 5 daughters, one for my sister, one for my sister-in-law and one for myself. I packaged them with a kitchen towel that I embroidered, and will give them to everyone as a Valentine gift. There are various pages in the journal, some with pockets for inserts so that we can record any exercise we do, and record our progress with weight loss, lower cholesterol numbers, etc. We have a page for recipes that are healthy. Then we have a pocket for inserts that include tips, motivation, strategies, etc.....items that have worked for us. I have offered to have everyone email me their tips and I will compile them and print out and distribute for inclusion in the journals as we go along. We aren't focusing on weight loss as our only goal...the goal is to be healthier, and if we take steps towards that goal, then the weight loss will happen, too.
