I made these comp notebooks with matching pens and notecards for end-of-the year teacher gifts. These are my first attempts at beaded pens and notebooks and I'm happy with how they turned out.

I was disappointed at how the pens turned out. I thought you'd be able to see more of the pattern of the paper but you can't. I also had a hard time getting the cardstock to stick to the pen even though I used my Xyron. This was my first try but I haven't given up!

I think they are lovely. For the pens, you can use blank address labels and cut to size (I don't remember the dimensions right now) or even the full sheet blank labels. They stick really well.

I read that you could use labels but I wanted to use cardstock to match the journals. I guess next time I'll stamp the covers and then I can stamp the labels to match for the pens!
