Valentine's Day Baggies

Photo Details
|
 | | I made these for my son's Valentine's Day party at his preschool. My idea was to let him help me make them, by filling up the bags with the candy, or even helping me stamp, but he was a little too excited about it, which would've made it impossible to get it done in a timely fashion.
I used my Stampin' Up collection "Sprinkles" for the hearts as a background on the white paper, and I used a light pink paper to place on top and stamped "From the Heart" with a stamp I got from Michaels out of their $1 bin. I also took a rectangle hole punch to punch two holes on the side for the ribbon, and then folded a heart printed rectangle in half and placed it over the bag already full of candy, and stapled it on both sides. It's cool; it looks like a personalized bag of candy!
Towards the end, I realized my whole theme was hearts, and then I had hearts in the baggie! And that was all on accident!
The baggies can be bought at Michaels also, and it seems they come about 100 in a bag, cause I have a ton left! |
