I used red so I could experiment with a recent discovery! The embossing powder is new to me and it's called Red Dragon. It is red with gold glitter and embosses beautifully on black!
I cut two contrasting layers for each of the butterflies with the Cuttlebug, then embossed them. Over this I used black ink on one, gold glitter on the 2nd and embellished the 3rd with more Red Dragon and some red gems to simulate the butterfly's body.
I embossed the red square brads in gold for added interest. I hope you like it!
