I kept the basic layout of the card, the nesties, and paper theme. I change the colors, sentiment, removed a couple flowers, and moved the ribbon to the other side.
This was a very difficult card to photograph since the background is actually clear and red acetate on the white base. I added a little color variation with the stacked flowers and put a little pearl onto a button brad. There are also pearls on the top right and bottom left of the card. The ribbon is actually a matching red velvet corduroy, but with the glare and everything else, it came out much darker in the picture.
My card does not have quite the visual impact of Karen's, but I am not too disappointed with how it came out.
Karen has a wonderfully inspiring gallery and I am off to CASE the next card!
Thanks so much for looking!
