Well, I am back from my short va-ca in Mazatlan. Had a wonderful trip, got lot's of sun and didn't get drunk! LOL Had my chips and salsa with a few Pacificios pool side....what more could you ask for, except maybe a few more days!!! Boogie boarded with DH, couldn't believe how sore I got from doing that! Yikes, this getting older really sucks! Anyway, have tons of bookwork to catch up on, BUT..... I needed to just make a card. So, here are the details........
Stamped my wagon, which is a newly released stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps, on a panel of white cs, clear ep it. Water colored images here using Faber Castel w/c pencils. Stamped some cactus and my Mutnik tree, added the hills in the bg. Sponged the bottom part around the wagon and cacuts.
On a separate piece of white cs, I stamped the tumble weeks, wagon wheel, and bone head. (not sure what you would call that)..colored them, then cut them out.
Reversed masked the corner and sponged the sun. Then sponged the desert sky. Made a torn top out of a piece of scrap muslin for my wagon, put it on wire then on the card. I'm not really an embellisher of sorts, so I was glad my sister sent this plate with Colorado on it because it worked perfectly here.
Then I added my wagon wheel, tumble weeds and bone head popping up a few things. Then I stamped the lines on the edges and corner things. Well, I know it has been a few days since I have made a card, I hope you like what I have done today!.........TFL :0)
Hi Sis! This one's for you!

Wonderful western scene! You're crackin' me up with the "bone head" description. :o) I especially like the torn wagon cover you created and the sponged ground and sky.
