February is the 5th anniversary of piano lessons with Cheryl, I've made a card for her every year. The base, (Close to Cocoa) is embossed with Fiskars music plate then lightly brushed with Color Box Chalk ink Amber Clay to bring out the details of the embossing. I used the nesties dies to cut the next layers Marigold Morning and a DP from7gypsies, which are mounted on black so they stand out a little better. The Treble clef from Elegant Notes is stamped in Saddle Brown StazOn. Found the neat musical ribbon from some Craft store. The piano I used and the key board on the bottom are both unmounted and unmarked so I don't know the source. The piano is colored with prismacolor pencils, covered with 2 coats of clear EP and mounted on dimensionals.

Another winner piano card for your teacher! She must look forward to seeing what you come up with each time. Great job on the embossed base layer, and I love your sentiment. TFS. Linda
