The directions for these gable boxes I got from Splitcoarst Stampers week of January 21, 2008, # wk 142. This box I think will make a nice manly gift with the "Happiness is a Journey" stamp of a train on the front. I did something different here by using the discarted hole punched out for the handle by adding it to the side of the box. I also used a build a brad but left it clear because I liked how the simpleness and color went with the box. I did a star punch with three layers on the handle before adding the ribbon to make it a little more masculin. I guess it does not have to be just for a man but either sex would be nice.
From the picture the side oval looks a deep blue but it is blue bayou and matches the front and inside of the box. My camera must of changed the color.

WOW...you have been busy. When you told me on the phone you had made some of these I was hoping you would upload them. I like them all but this one I love the graduated stars on the handle. It is very cold here in Davison (4 degrees, brrr at 8pm). I can't wait to get back home so I can make some of these. Thanks for the info on making them sturdy. TFS
