This is a Valentine's Day card for my niece. I feel like it's missing something but I can't figure out to do anything else with it. I've been dying to use my zebra print paper for a valentine card. Well it's turned out okay but I can say it's not my best work.
I started with a black card. Embossed a black piece of card stock with the Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaic Texture folder and attached it to the black card. Then cut two different size triangles out of the zebra sprint and backed them with pink. Stamped the Studio G SWAK stamp with Charcoal (Color Box fluid ink) and punched it out with a 1 1/2" circle punch. Then used a SU scallop punch on the pink card stocked and backed the stamped circle. I placed it in the middle of the two triangles. Next, I type up the sentiment on the computer using Georgia and Dear John fonts. Finally I added two pink snaps in the middle of each triangle.

I think your card is adorable! I love the color combo, the embossed black cardstock and, of course, the zebra paper! I think the only thing I might have done differently is to put the pink snaps on the upper black cardstock, not on the busy zebra pattern... and only 3 of them... maybe near the left corner along the top. Just a thought. I still saved a copy in my favorites though! Ideas are flowing with your layout!

i'll have to agree with the first woman... the pink dots would have been poppin at the top on the black. I also agree with the 'three' instead of just two... seems 3 is always the key with groups... even heard that from the Partylite woman, "three candles make a bigger effect" or something like that.... so three is the key.. it's a chant really. Love the card though. Love the zebra print and the color combinations.
