The journalling reads: ...ten fingers, ten toes, hands to use, where God wills he goes...
This was a very fun and full challenge! I liked all the elements to play with though I found covering chipboard to be the least favourite scrap technique ever (kudos to you girls with the patience to use this regularly!). I especially love how the acetate heart turned out with the layered buttons and hint of ribbon around DS3's lovely hand!

Silly me. I just realized this morning that I forgot to add some hidden journalling. Part of the challenge was to make the page about school. DS2 isn't in school yet, but is working through some life issues and therapies.
Journalling reads:
This moment was so...wonderful. Do you notice: the animals aren't lined up. B had grouped the animals into two groups that made sense to him (would love to see how his great mind thinks!), but they weren't lined up, nor were they placed in a B's usual perfect circle! This was a big shifting moment and something very new and 'normal'. And it brought me to a stop as I strolled through the room, noticed the 'something different' and then quietly pondered what this shift in pattern could mean for our little boy. Magic. The moment melted my heart, drew in my breath, filled me with that overwhelming Mommy greatfulness and love for my little B-boy, had me walking away in wonder... until I printed the picture not ten minutes later, and realized that the animals were actually in a circle. Ah well, my heart is still full with that take-your-breath-away love for my B, and I'd still love to know what he's thinking. And motherhood and childhood and life...is still magical and miraculous and wonder-full.
