I haven't watercolored lately, but I finally tackled the technique again with this great new Level 1 Hostess Set. My mom always had the most beautiful orange poppies in her garden, so this one is a walk down memory lane for me. The color challenge, Tangerine Pixie Kisses, was perfect for this image.
The layout (which is an old sketch challenge) is a Very Vanilla cs base layered with Bella Rose designer paper. I ran a piece of Tangerine Tango cs through my Big Shot with the SU Background 1 Texturz pad. (LOVE IT!!) I then added a couple vanilla eyelets, satin Kiwi/Vanilla ribbon and the sentiment tags.
The image was stamped with Jet Black StazOn onto watercolor cs and colored with my Kiwi Kiss and Tangerine Tango ink pads, Pixie Pink marker and Aquapainter. It's layered onto Kiwi Kiss cs and adhered to the card with Dimensionals.
