This layout is for IFC23- to scraplift a layout from Mousey'sMom. I was inspired by her layout Fashion Forward, which can be seen here: Fashion Forward by Mousey'sMom at Splitcoaststampers
I loved the title and the cute little girl sporting her bare chest and some funky pants. It reminded me of some photos of my niece at 3 years old with her winter coat and hat. I remember taking her out one Sunday after church in this attire and everywhere we went someone commented on her coat. The one comment I will always remember is one from a older black gentleman who said to her: "baby girl you got it going on!, you got to get you some photos in that outfit cause that is tight." Well she did have some photos done and we made sure we gave one to that older gentleman cause he always makes over her every time she goes in the store. I did not include that in the journaling but, I have more of these photos and different poses and I think that I will do another layout with that included. These are things she won't remember when she's my age and needs to feel good about herself and her mom is simply to busy to scrapbook.
Anyway, this challenge was about GINA and her awesome distressed layouts. I did not lift Gina's layout but, it inspired me to create one similar and to tackle distressing. Every piece of paper on here has been inked, distressed with an edge distresser. I have worked on this on and off for days. Because I have been under the weather I forgot how to use my vellum tape and instead of adding it to the cardstock and then attaching my vellum title I added it to the vellum and boy can you see it! So please excuse that faux pas.
All papers are from SEI and My Minds Eye. Large brads are from American Crafts.

What a cute story and I love the bling (and the pics too)! I too also thought it was part of the title, but I can understand your frustration b/c I can't seem to find a good vellum tape! Hope you are feeling better.

What a great page, Jenn--I think your niece looks like she should be in the movies like Shirley Temple or something. Love your story and journaling. I, too, didn't realize that was adhesive behind the vellum. Beautiful page, and I hope you're feeling better.
