What a wonderful colour combination for the challenge today! Baha Breeze, Pacific Point and Garden Green. Very soft and soothing.
First off I have to say I apologise that this card is almost a rip off of the card I did for the tenugui challenge but I looked at the challenge lat night before bed and I couldn't get the idea out of my head to have this little zebra peeking through the grasses with a bouquet in his mouth. So I just had to go for it.
I stamped him first with his little head cocked slightly to the side on purpose, masked him oss and then stamped the tulips from Both Way Blossoms one at a time and masked each bloom off as I stamped them. Next I punched out my hearts from sticky notes and placed them in the background. I sponged with both blus colours trying to keep the center lighter and the edges darker and then overstamped it all in Pacific Point very lightly with a celtic word BG stamp. Next I stamped the grasses which are from my Wild Things set from Gel-a-tins and then highlighted each blade by drawing along the edge of each one with my Garden Green marker. After that I took off all of the masks and watercoloured the tulips with Baha Breeze and Pacific Point ink. I inked part of a $1 bin stamp from Micheals with my garden green marker for the sentiment and stamped that in and then drew the stitching on the main panel with black marker. I sponged my Whisper White card base with Garden Green ink and mounted the main panel onto it and that was all she wrote.
This was an awesom colour challenge, thanks Jessie! And thanks all for looking and commenting! Hope you like my card as much as I liked making it!

Wow! This is sooo cute! Love the zebra and all of the amazing detail you put into this card (the highlighted grass and watercolored tulips). All of that hard work really paid off! TFS!
