Finally I have made a card! Actually, I am always working on cards - some just do not cut the mustard - and others are still in progress.
Anyhow.. I actually like this card I made - and if felt like Deborah!! I like the colour in the image - and just the subject matter! In fact - I do not like canned food - especially not cherries or - ugh - cucumbers - but this image caught my eye!!
The upper scalloped section is up on dimensionals to kind of give it the appearance of a window - and I added the bit of rick rack trim. I embossed the image and the sentiment in clear ep, and used some diamond dust on the image, as well as the buttons. I confess - I was pleased with how it turned out!!
ahhh= finally a card that I have made that feels like a Deborah Card to me! Be true to thyself!! No more Siberian Irises -it's just not me!!
Thanks for looking!!

Oh Deborah I LOVE this. I wanted this stamp. I got the Perk one instead and the jars with all the words on them. When I was a little girl my mom canned so much. I hated it then but the memories bring back such a warm feeling. Everytime I smell cooking tomatoes I think of her up to her elbows in veggies. Love this card. It is so precious. The coloring is terrific. That took some patience. Love the scallops too. Thanks for the memory...
Hugs..
