Hello, I made this card for the Friday challenge on Hanna Stamps forum. We were to make a card with more than one fold. I decided to make a gatefold card.
This is also a birthday card for our Daughter Olivia, she turned 9 yesterday. At Christmas Olivia asked for a knitting kit, she was dying to learn how to knit. She spent a great part of the holidays knitting, so this was a perfect stamp for her. I even coloured the yarn to match her scarf in progress.
The card base is white, with rose red & dp from dcwv sweet stack.
I stamped the moose on white & colour with copics. Then on the dp for the chair, and again on white so I could layer them in place. The ends of the needles & the ball of yarn are popped up. This image & layers were cut with circle/scallop nesties.
The sentiment is 'Everyday Sentiments' also from Hanna stamps. I used circle punches & nesties to cut out these layers. I finished it off with some stick on gems.
I think this is the 1st time I made an inside for a card! I searched online for a verse. It's printed on copy paper & layered on rose red.
Olivia loved this card, hope you like it too!
