My grandma's birthday is Monday, so I thought I better get going on a card for her. I decided to pull out one of my favorite SU sets, Embrace Life, because she loves flowers.
I don't use a lot of purple -- I don't really know why, because I really like it. But for some reason, it was calling to me today.
I usually go pretty smooth and realistic with my coloring, but today I decided to try a bit of a watercoloring-like look. I kind of like the effect for this kind of card.
Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' Up's Embrace Life
Papers: Stampin' Up's River Rock, Papertrey Ink's White, DP by My Mind's Eye
Inks: Memento Brown
Accessories: Green Ribbon by MFT, Silver Plaque by Jo Ann Fabrics, Copic Markers

What a gorgeous card, great colors, and you did a great job cutting all of that out so perfectly. I don't know if I would have the patience to do that! KUDOS!!!

This is so pretty! I love all the torn layers, that pretty olive ribbon, and the way you colored and cut out all the flowers and leaves. Wow! Bet your grandma loved it too.
