Today's Ways to Use it challenge theme is patterned paper, using what you have in patterned paper and giving it a new look.
My mom had asked for a bookmark (you can read the story of why over at my blog if you like). So I had this idea to create the feeling of treasured special edition books on patterned paper with gold accents (strip on bottom).
I watercolored the chair from the new Flourishes set and added the books on/near the chair.
I gave the top of the bookmark the feeling of an open book too with my Top Note Die, and the ribbons like another bookmark in the book.
For more details, pictures and the story see this post: ChristineCreations
Thanks for looking!

This is beautiful! My sister (a librarian) would appreciate your vision and final product. I am emailing this link to a friend of mine who is an avid reader. Thanks so much for your hard work, I am sure your mom will love it!

What an incredible book mark! I read your blog and love the story you shared of your mother - how wonderful she now has a handmade creation from you to go along with the new hobby! I love the details on this card - you certainly put alot of thought and love into making this!
