Wow 30 teaparties. Here is Cindy's teapot for the week : Happy Teapot Tuesday #30 by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
This week I knew immediately what I was going to do. The octagons made me think of yesterday's TLC204 faux mosaic. Don't look too closely at my octagons, because I really did cut mine by hand. I embossed the back panel with silver. I glued the cream octagons onto the silver. I covered that whole panel with my versamark ink and added UTEE. My little bee was strategically placed where it was messed up and there was silver on the octagon. It turned out to be a pretty good place, I think. He is up on a dimensional. I stamped LOVE YOU with the versamark and more silver embossing powder. I outlined my panels with silver marker and added brads.

Hey, you did good! When I was looking at yesterday's cards I was thinking the same thing...would work well with this honeycomb look! I am glad you attempted it! You go girl! I an not a technical stamper so I shy away from techniques!
You musta purposely messed up right where the bee is because he could not be in a better place! Giggle...that was on purpose wasnt it? I love that it looks like he's playing in honey and giving a big shout out to the queen that he loves her!
I never really thought about it but honey goes good with tea....yes?? Love your card! I could not wait until you got here! Thanks for brining your cute card and your link too!

Now that was one inspired idea to use the faux mosaic for your honeycomb - and you cut out WAY more hexagons than I did, and your bee is cuter too - making for a *sweet* card.

I can't believe you cut all those by hand. That is awesome. Looks great. I really like your little bee. He is cute. I only had one bee stamp. Love this MariLynn...
