Tomorrow is my husband's birthday. He happens to be a mailman, so this image that djuseless (Thanks, Diane!) recently sent me is perfect for him.
When I make masculine cards, I like to keep the layout nice and simple. This old sketch challenge was perfect! My card base is Sahara Sand followed by SU designer paper from the Patterns Pack. The mailboxes needed to be grounded, so I pulled out my Grass stamp by A Muse and stamped it twice with Jet Black StazOn. The images were colored with SU markers. I blended in the sky with a watercolor pencil and Blender Pen. It's layered onto Sahara Sand cs and adhered to the card.
I stamped the sentiment twice onto Whisper White cs; first with Not Quite Navy and again with Sahara Sand. The Not Quite Navy one was punched with my 1" circle punch and the Sahara Sand one was punched with my 1/2" circle punch. This was added to the INSIDE of the card with a Dimensional. I punced out the circle on the front of the card with my 1 1/4" circle punch.
I think this will bring a smile to Tim's face. TFL - Regina

What a great card for a Postie. Love your colours and your grass is perfect grounding for the letterboxes (as we call them here in Aus). The hardware reminds me of the flag on your 'mailboxes'.
