Here's a quick card I made this afternoon for a friend who will be celebrating her birthday next week. I've used this layout before. I like it because it's so easily adaptable to any color scheme and any occasion.
I used this week's Color Challenge colors. I also followed the requirements of the fourth Holiday Challenge Extravaganza challenge - make a birthday card using one piece of designer paper, two colors of cardstock (not including a neutral), and three punches, with the only embellishment being ribbon. Well, I didn't have a ribbon that matched these colors exactly, so I made a faux ribbon. I cut a narrow strip of Not Quite Navy cardstock and stamped it with the Just Jeans background stamp in the same color ink. I also counted my Sizzix flower die as one punch.
Thanks for looking at my card! Jimmi, thanks for the holiday challenge, and Emily, thanks for heading up the color challenges each week.
