Wow! I did a scrapbook page! Not only that, but the pictures are of...me!!! Can you believe it?
This project started out as a card for my husband. The bottom left has 10 coin envelopes attached together with sticky strip, and then each has a card inside with a note to him on it. I put an eyelet and ribbon on each card.
To make the pocket I cut a piece at 8 1/4 x 5 3/4. Then on the 8 1/4 side I cut down at 3 3/4, then on the 5 3/4 side I cut in at 1 5/8 to make a T shape. Then I scored at the three spots to make a square on each side, then again 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch from the first score mark. Is that clear enough? Sorry if it's not. Anyway, I then adhered the buttons and the silver cord to close. Then sticky strip the 3 3/4 inch part to the first envelope (I think I ended up trimming it down to 3 inches or so).
I couldn't figure out how to make it into a good-looking card, so I used recent pictures we had done to make my first scrapbook page in a very long time!
