My brother is turning 31 in just a few days, and we live far away from each other - he's in Mass. and I'm in TX. So to let him know how much we want him and his wife to visit us, I made this wanted card for his birthday. This is photo of him - probabably around 2 and a half - from Russia. (We moved to US in 1990.) I had the scan of the original and made it Sepia tone and added a film grain effect to it, to make it look even older. I then printed it out and tore the edges of the photo. For the brads, I embossed the fronts in Clear EP and cocoa powder (same technique also on the WANTED word on the vellum). So it makes them look old and weathered and smells yummy. I cut out the spur star and the horse and mounted with dimensionals. I also mounted the photo with dimensionals. For the envelope, I stamped the horse Off with the same color several times - i think it may be called a fading technique, not really sure. Thanks for looking & have a blessed day! ;o)
