I really enjoyed this IC, thanks Steff bringing 'the goods to the table' when it comes to these challenges!!!! As soon as I browsed through the various towels I knew that this was the one that I was going to be casing:
I had bought my son a baseball cap with The Joker in it for Christmas and had saved the tag for a card, it was perfect for this challenge and I have to say I am happy with the result, especially as i just L-O-V-E to recycle! I layered it on blue textured paper and attached it to the embossed card (which I had previously swiped the white ink pad over) with a screw brad.
My 12 year old daughter Bronte had given me some acrylic stamps for Christmas and I used them for the sentiment and layered it on the blue and attached it wil silver brads....then of course...the torn corners.....but no chalks on this one!!!!
For me, the ultimate compliment was when my son saw it, his eyes lit up and he said, 'Wow, now that's COOL Mum!!!' I had already decided that it was definitely a 'one of' and I would put it away for him for his birthday, which is December....a good start to my being organised this year LOL!!! The only thing is I might forget where I put it...I will need you to remind me that it is in the b'day folder when I panic 'coz I can't find it...thanks!!!
Thanks for looking, I hope you like this card...it has probably taken you longer to read this than the card took to make...well, slight exaggeration, but it was very quick!!! I do appreciate your comments too!
