This card is done with the colours of this weeks CC and that was the easy part, the stars the snowman is golding puts it in the WT Challenge (thaks Peggy for that tip)...the TSC...that took me all week to get together in my head. The snowman requirement really threw me on this one, as we associate snowmen with Christmas over here, so now that Christmas is over...snowmen weren't even in the equation for me...well, so I thought, especially as our temperatures are around the 38 degrees Celcius and going to be higher next week - hence the theme of this card!!!
I used this great stamp that was in my box of 'treasures' given to me by a lovely lady, Kelly, at the first markets I went to with my cards....I love this guy - he reminds me of Klinger on M*A*S*H!!! I used the CB EF Divine Swirls and inked it with white craft ink, trying to give the impression of both waves and snow whirling around.
The main image and the snowman have been coloured with chalks and a blender pen, then mounted with 3D foam tape to give the card a bit more dimension. I also used Dimensional Magic/CE on the shells and the 'gentleman's glasses, although that is hard to see in the photo.
I think it came together okay - what do you think? Thanks for looking and for your comments...now that I have completed this challenge, I am looking forward to doing exactly that - chilling out!!!
EDIT: I have just realised that the snowflake we were meant to use for the TSC is not there - it seems to have melted - seems to have melted, oops!

Living in Texas I can certainly appreciate this one! We're at a balmy 70 degrees F. Putting this card together was a stroke of genius! Love it madly but had to look again to find the snowflakes. Great use of the CB thing too.

Oh Lovely Linda, you make me long for the days of summer!! This is just plain naughty of you! Too create in me a longing for the sun and heat whilst I live in the the land of rain and chilly temperatures! The snow is still here, but nearly gone! Oh Lovely Linda - I guess it is so nice and warm in Canberra!!
Dream on girl! Your card is so fun and positively wonderful and inspired!! Enjoy the thoughts of snow... I'll send some your way - and a whole lot of rain! Fabulous job on the challenge!!! Great card! As for the man, I imagine that's just typical old sun drenched looking over baked Australian - maybe even a photo of your husband??? That's what happens when you bake to much in the sun - you get all shrivelled up and that is that.............
