this is a take off of the one in the sab brochure.
I used pop up glue dots to hold mine together. It was a 1x12 dsp (new Candy Land) with a punched dsp circle in the middle. The stem is a thin piece of close to cocoa spiraled. I might like to try a 3/4" x 12 piece too for this type of card to make it smaller.

Nice card, thanks for the tip on how to hold this together. I made one but couldn't get the glue on the circle to hold the flower together, I never thought about the pop up glue dots!

To make the stem, I cut a really thin piece of cardstock (longer then you actually want it to be. I think mine was 8 1/2" when I started but may have trimmed some. Then I just started twisting the paper to make it coil. When I got it about the tightness I wanted I added a glue dot to on end and put that end down. Then I tightened a little more as it loosened and added a second glue dot to the other end and made sure it was the way I wanted it when I put it down. It has just stayed that way sense. Hope that helps some.

Love this and I made one using the scallop border punch on one edge and used the scallops to make my folds. I like the stem may have to try that myself.
Thanks for the directions, :0)
