Another one of these foam core board do it yourself projects. I really REALLY wanted all of these things close at hand rather than digging for them in the countless drawers and cabinets. So, using the ribbon rack as my prototype, I improved on the design somewhat with this one. It used three 22x28 boards.
The completed project measures 22" across the base and 24" tall. 5" deep at the base and 3" deep at the top.
Thanks for lookin'

You should be patting yourself on the back! What a great way to give yourself some storage at a totally reasonable cost. I looked at your ribbon storage as well. Well done!

Awesome idea! I made two of the ink pad storage units (the ones with the "shelf" on top). I modified one of those to use for ribbon, tall things like my dimensionals packs, mat pack, etc.
However, I think a really tall unit like this would really be useful! Thanks for the idea!!
And to anyone wondering if the foam board is strong enough - I've been using mine for over six months, storing ink pads, glitter, punches, and more on them. They work wonderfully, at a fraction of the cost of retail storage!
I too agree with the other commentators, nice job. I like the tapered progression of the shelves...large on the bottom tapering to the smallest on the top.

Heather, these are fabulous! I'm confused because I tried to check out the link to Stacy's blog and it wouldn't work. I love this design and your ink pad one too! Could you email me a link to your inspiration? I think I'd love to do something like this.
