What a fun thing to start before work, I probably looked like a cheap floozy with all the glitter on me! Good thing it was cold and my customers stayed inside! BUT....I probably glittered so much that they would have had to put sunglasses on if they looked outside! lol......on to the card....
I took a white cs panel, put tacky tape on in various ways. I even cut out different shapes. Tried to make some circles with the hole punch, but they just stuck to the punch. So, I hand cut a few circles. Put different colors of glitter on my tape by pulling off the red part randomly......except for the one piece I didn't pull off the red part. Now that the card is done, I noticed it. Yikes!
I sponged different blues to make a sky. Then I thought, why cover this up, so I made a little scene on acetate. I stamped the little doggie, colored him a bit too dark using sharpie markers. Then I drew the snow hills and stamped the trees. Put green glitter on the tree bottoms and white glitter for the snow tops. Also added glitter to the bottom of the panel for snow after I had sponged moonlight white.
I just today got this MS fence punch, so just had to use it. Punched the fence, sponged with ginger and added some glitter for snow that didn't show up to well. Glued it to the bottom of the scene. Makes the little doggie look like he is is the yard, don't ya think?! Then I put my acetate scene over my glittered bg by punching holes in the corners and putting brads that I put glue on then dipped in glitter.
Sponged a white card with blue bayou and glued my scene on, then went to get the vacuum! Well.....what do you think?.........TFL :0)
Hi Sis! I got you this punch too! Will mail it soon. :0)

You must be good at geometry. I could not have ever figured out where to put all those shapes so they looked that good. Great sponging. This dog looks like mine. Super job. TFS

I just purchased the same MS punch also. I haven't used it yet but you have inspired me.

Love the randomness of your glitter strips. What a cute punch too, I'm going to check that one out. Cute card, but I agree w/ Faith - why is the puppy in the snow!?

Cathy, your puppy better pee fast or he is going to get too cold. I love the way your glitter looks. You did the stripes in a very artistic, random way. It made me think of the Northern Lights. I haven't ever seen them, but I think even if I had they wouldn't compare to your card. How creative of you to put your glitter on the acetate. I really like the punched fence.
