I saw the CCEE blog this morning, and what lovely cards there were to see - http://cceestampers.blogspot.com/200...challenge.html.
Then I saw the TLC challenge, but I still had some housework to do.
Then I saw all the details about Cindy's card on her blog - http://mothermark.blogspot.com/2009/...nd-oliver.html. It looks like a very nice zoo that Oliver and Jenny have been housed in, but it's obvious that Jenny's head is in the clouds, love has blinded her to the fact that she belongs in a nice HOT setting.
So I made a hot sandy background with chalk pastels in orange and yellow, green, and blue rubbed into the card before I added all those sandy coloured glittery stripes from the TLC. Look how strong the sunshine must be to make all that glitter shine.
Jenny is from Mindy's Zoo by Autumn Leaves, and Oliver is from October Afternoon's Night Owl. Not sure how he'll take the heat - he might moult!! It had better just be a short holiday before they go back to the zoo.
H2Os to watercolour, and hot sandy glowing Stickles dots round the edge on the brown base.
