Congrats to Julie! I absolutely love her gallery. Mostly because her style is so clean and uncomplicated. Which is direct opposite of mine. I truly admire her style and wish I could emulate it. But I think I've mentioned, I need a road map to do clean and simple. That's why it's lucky for me, Julie's gallery is like Map Quest on steroids. Whenever I need a clean, uncomplicated card, I know whose gallery I'll be caseing!
For this case, I chose her Beach Party. I changed the stamps, used ribbon instead of dp and added an extra layer. Apparently, I am incapable of doing a no layer card.
I stamped the wheel w/ the Kpad and used a Nestie circle to cut it out. The arrow was stamped and cut out, and attached w/ a brad. I layered this one a scalloped orange layer then a Nestie turq. layer.
In place of Julie's c/s, I used 3 pieces of a thin ribbon. I used my Score It to score lines so I could glue it on straight and instead of covering them up, I decided I liked the lines showing between the bands of ribbon.
The greeting was stamped above the ribbon and the panel was edged w/ a black marker then attached to a white card. TFL
