For today's Inspiration Challenge, to be inspired by Cakes by Nouveau! I chose the cake entitled The Vineyard...those are some AMAZING cakes...I would never want to cut into them!
Used flourishes from The Angel Company, and punched out circles. I think things went awry when I tried to Versamark some of the grapes to make them look dewy and shiny...they kind of just turned out blobby! I had 2 different shades of purple paper, so I should have left it at that! Here is a button trick I learned (I think) from Nichole Heady's blog...use teeny strips of paper and thread through holes...I put a tiny piece of ribbon under the paper (that was too small to tie). I punches holes in the paper, and threaded the paper strips all the way through and secured them on the back to hold the button and the ribbon.

I think that the grapes look fabulous!! I tell you Schrimcat - since seeing your cute Primitive card IRL - well - I always loved them - but seeing peoples cards IRL gives you a new appreciation of the cool stuff that you and other folks do! I've no doubt that this is delightful - and I'm not saying just to get Santa's nice list! It really is lovely!
