I made these purses for my first ever downline meeting as gifts for all those attending. My daughter picked everything out for each one, and personally filled them with candy (she's 4, and loves to help me craft).
To make them I took the purse pattern from the SU! website and cut those out. Then for the top I cut out the Top Note die and cut the points off of the two long sides. I scored it and adhered to the back of the purse. I also put different designer brads on the front to look like a clasp. I wish that I had velcro to close them, but I live in Germany and don't have a craft store handy. (I thought about Tombo since you can let it dry and it is removable, but I am allergic to latex, so perhaps you can try using it if you aren't)
Oh, and I attached the Rose Red ribbon with sticky strip.

What a great project. You did a wonderful job...and so did your daughter. I'm having trouble locating the pattern. Where on the website did you find it?
Thanks fo sharing.

Adorable idea, colors and details ~ TFS!
Would a small piece of adhesive magnet work for a closure?

I wasn't sure about the policies of sharing SU! demo only templates with others. However, there is a post here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers that shows the template I used. Enjoy!
