The Wish-RAK Group is having a New Year Card Round Up - Cards for the Troops this holiday weekend. Here's my card pattyb's Birthday Boy Challenge #4. We were to make a birthday card that a servicemember could send home to their son. I recently received the ADORABLE dog bone brads from my Secret Santa (Rubberlover), so I pulled out this awesome designer paper and Inkadinkado stamp set, both of which sat untouched for too long in my stamp room.
I decided to tackle a sketch challenge that I hadn't done previously because this dog image was just the right size. He was stamped and clear embossed twice onto Very Vanilla cs with Craft Chocolate Chip ink so I could pop up his head, ear and tail. This panel is layered onto Chocolate Chip cs. The designer paper, which is two-sided, is layered onto Summer Sun and then adhered to the Chocolate Chip card base.
I think this card is SO darn cute and hope it'll bring to a smile to a young boy's face when he gets this card from his Mom or Dad some day.

This one is definitely my favorite. Love, love, love how you popped up his head and tail. And that bone brad is WAY cute and perfect for this image. The DP tops it all off. I'm going to have to wish for some animal images I think.
