This card was made for the A Muse Addicts Challenge using the Stamp of the Week. You had two choices, either the polar bear or fawn (the deer). I chose to use Fawn.
I first stamped the trees on a white piece of cardstock and then drew a line in brown to separate the land and sky. On scraps of white paper, I stamped three windows and five deer (or Fawn). I colored each image using Copics and then cut them out. I cut the end off of the middle window so it would all hook together smoothly.
I then adhered my deer to the background. I then figured out how I wanted my windows to be placed so I could see at least part of each of the five deer. I considered using vellum for the glass, but what I had was too opaque and covered the background too much. I used pop dots to adhere the windows to the background. I then adhered the background to the front of the card.
I stamped the sentiment on another scrap of white cardstock and punched it out with a SU oval punch. I then used the larger coordinating SU oval punch to obtain the mat for the sentiment. Hand drawn dashes were added to the sentiment. That piece was then adhered to the brown and white polka-dotted mat before it was adhered to the card.
