All supplies are Stampin' Up! except the Karen Foster Countdown Calendar. The calendar comes in white with clear sticker numbers. I discovered that the drawers are a true square, so I used my paper trimmer to make squares the right size. Then I traced the opening to the drawer on each piece of paper and used the 1/2 inch circle punch to punch the hole. The punched hole is slightly smaller than the hole on the box, but it still works fine.
Since the Holiday Treasures DSP has such wonderful images, I used my Paper Snips to cut out portions of it for embellishing. I used Mono Multi Adhesive to adhere everything. I also dabbed a bit of Mono Multi on some of my brads and then dipped them into Dazzling Diamonds to add a bit of sparkle.
For the outside of the box, I used a strip of the Holiday Treasures DSP and glued on our awesome felt ribbon. I had to use quite a bit of glue to get the felt to stay on, but it's stuck for sure now! I made a quick and easy bow on the top with the ribbon and used a band of Riding Hood Red Striped GG ribbon held on with a little glue on the bottom and a good wrapping of the hemp twine to tie it all off.
And since I like things completely finished, I covered the back of the box with Old Olive CS.
The pictures do not do this box justice! I've had many ladies who have seen it try to slip it into their bags and take it home! I have to admit that I'm in love with this box (and the stamp set) and plan to use it for years to come!
This box took me 4-5 hours to design, stamp, and create and I'm a fast worker. I recreated one for my sister and it took me about 3-4 hours to complete.

Thank you for your encouragement. I bought a few of these Karen Foster Advents on sale and have tucked it away - I didn't have enough time to make this box and now I am thrilled to see one finished. I love what you have done with it! Thank you for sharing this project........love it!
