I made this card for today's sketch challenge. It's really meant to be a sympathy card, I've stamped *With sympathy* on the inside because it wouldn't work on the outside.
I was making French Onion Soup this morning, so I got out the alcohol inks to combat the smell. The autumnal background was already there, so I made a blue one and a green one.
The base card is blue, embossed with the Textiles ef. Then a layer of blue polished stone. Then the rusty brown layer, which I stamped over with a text stamp. I added a sentiment stamped on a scrap of blue I punched out from under the green layer. The green layer was stamped with a grass from Hero Arts. All the panels were edged with a silver pen. Then I added silver Dew Drops, and a little punched circle of green to finish it off. The verse that was in my mind when I was making it was Isaiah 40:8
