I know this layout is a little dated (from Dec 5th!)...BUT, it has been on my mind ever since I couldn't finish a card using the sketch. It's Taylor VanBruggen's Cupcake Challenge #45 (TECC45) - http://tayloredexpressions.blogspot....challenge.html.
Like many of you, I am in dire need of thank you cards and need to get a move on!
I used my Doodlebug fun flock for the flower and colored the stem with my SU! Old Olive marker. I cut the ovals using my Creative Memories cutting system and scalloped the white oval using the SU! corner rounder. I bought the white twill ribbon at Michaels and stamped the sentiment directly onto the ribbon using black Staz-On ink. I secured the ribbon with hemp tied through an olive button (though it's hard to see in this photo). The crushed velvet brads are from Doodlebug also.
