I am taking the store bought Christmas cards I have received and turning them into cards to donate to local retirement and nursing homes for Christmas 2009. My goal is to work up around 200 cards. Here are a few of my redos.

This is a great idea and thoughtful. We all end up with tons of cards. I often take mine to church and sell them there for $2 each. They sell very fast and then I donate 100% of the money to a project that is going on in the church. Outreach or mission trips etc. It's giving back to my church for all they do for me. I collect other peoples scraps and make the cards from that. They love to see what I do with their paper too. It so much fun. I am glad others do this sort of thing also. Good for you. You will be blessed dear one!
