You probably couldn't guess that I liked this IC160. Nope, you probably wouldn't guess at all. Thanks Anne for the whimsy that is MC and Stef thank you for running with it! I had to go no further than to open the MC website for my inspiration. And it took me FOREVER to piece the chair...but I had so much fun creating this piece I would do it again!!!
My chair is from Stamp Francisco. I hand drew a pattern for the various inserts. The diamond is from SU Looks like Spring stamped on doublemates tempting tanzanite with NicK Bantock deep turquoise dye ink. The bold dots are inked with Brilliance galaxy gold and embossed in clear on MM harvet russet paper. The mustard color paper is unknown, but I ran it through the CB with the spots embossing folder. I jused a Sakura gel pen to draw in the seams. There is an open book resting in the back of the chair. The tuffet is a peppermint from Basic Greys' Figgy Pudding. I used a cooper gel pen to draw lots of straight lines on the circle...and it is slightly pushed under the chair. The shuttered window is unknown. I stamped it with turquoise gem VersaMagic ink and also embossed with clear. I stamped the window twice and inked the flowers in the flower box with ChalkBox peony. I cut throught the black mat and the cardbase so you would have a view out my window. Stamp Francisco's winter scene with Shakespeare quote is stamped in VersaColor black on the inside of the card. If you look closely, you can see a huge oak tree with snow piled high and a farm house up the way. I used Greeen Pepper unmounted moulding to minic the checkboard in the inspiration room. The sentiment is by Cornish Heritage Farms (VersaColor black and clear embossed). The picture hanging above the chair is a very happyily married couple...for almost 22 years now! I finished my card off by stamping CHF's scrapblock houndstooth in black.
I would love to read what you think of my inspiration...have a wonderful weekend everyone.
