This is my submission for HCE03. In WI we have Snow Days and Snow Days are Holidays. If you don't believe it, just ask a kid. Imagine being 8-10 years old and waking up in the morning with this card hung on the inside of your bedroom door. It's cause for celebration!
The paper is, of course, scraps. I stamped the Local King Snowflakes on the white with Color Box Petal Point and put it through the Cuttlebug using my Swiss Dot Strip.
Sentiment is computer generated and glued on and I used a silver eyelet put on with my Crop A Dile to attached the jute twine for hanging. tfl

I hear you on the snow days ... a balmy 4 down here (not factoring the wind chill).
This is a super cute idea - Love the thought of your story behind it.
Great job.

Very pretty! Love the color and the snowflakes! Hardly ever a snow day here in NC, but I sure remember the excitement of a "snow holiday" in Michigan and Massachusetts!
