Here's my well used masks for the Christmas card I made this year. Since I was making 30 and didn't want to use post-it notes each time, I stamped the card image (which was on one acrylic block...that also eased the mass production of this card) on acetate (transparency) 3 times. Then one was used for the sky (drew in the horizon line), for the water (transferred horizon line and drew in sand line), and for the sand (transferred the sand line). Then I taped the acetate sheets to regular paper (leaving the top open so I could slide the card in). The images were some what of a pain to cut out but saved a lot of time in the end.
The lollipop looking things in the middle of the pic are my version sponge daubers. Used sucker sticks (found in cake decorating section of store), make-up sponge, and rubber band. Folded the sponge in thirds and wrapped around the end of a stick, securing with rubber band.
