Mainly blue and one embellishment other than paper was the request for todayÂ’s Limited Supply Challenge. My other than paper embellishment is glitter.
The card:
-Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps were used for coloring the images; itÂ’s the same technique as Gamsol/mineral spirits.
-Glitter was added with Heat and stick and Art Glitter adhesive on the panel. A combo of glue pad and heat and stick was used for the light blue snowflakes because just one of those products just doesnÂ’t work for me so I combined them and like the results.
-Handmade cloud template and sponging was done to create the sky.
-The negative emboss technique was used for the Cuttlebug panel. You can find the technique in the Technique Challenge.
-I did a stamping off technique for the card base which isnÂ’t real visible in the photo.
The envelope:
The envelope is handmade. After cutting and folding I punched the snowflakes though both layers of the folded envelope. On the inside I placed clear packing tape on the front and back. Flipped the envelope to the front and back side up and poured on the glitter. Brush off the excess and glue the envelope into shape. So just to make sure you get it, the glitter is on the outside of the envelope and it's stuck tight to the packing tape.
For this envelope I added a navy paper to the inside front so it shows through the glittered window. If your cardstock has a color you could skip that option.
For much simpler version of the envelope, check out this upload.
