This is a cute little coaster made from a 4" clay flower pot dish. I love bright cheery things with a whimsical twist. This is sort of a Mediterranian feel with a fun stamp inside. Great for decorating with or actually using for drinks etc. When sealed properly the image is protected from liquids. You can do a set of six or so and stack them on a coffee table or use them out on a patio for a little fun. Use a plate holder and mount on the wall as well. Try using a little larger dish for a bigger display and use a larger stamp in the center. This makes me smile when I see it.

These are beautiful!
You mentioned a waterbased primer- did you prime the coaster before you painted it?
So, prime, paint, stamp, color in, seal?
Sorry for the detailed questions, but I love these and I'd love to make some!

I'm so glad you like them. Not a problem for the questions. The answer is yes, prime, paint, stamp, color in and seal. I used one good coat of primer, two coats of paint, stazon black for the stamp then the SU! Classic ink in the colors you choose. I used my blender pens to fill in the color. Yellow was my base color of craft paint and all I had to do was shade with a darker color dye pad. I used really rust to shade. I'd love to see yours too! Have fun.
