Hello and happy Monday! The winds are blowing so hard that it sounds like a nor'easter blowin' outside my house this morning. Brrrrr!!!
My card today encompasses two challenges: the first one is a sketch challenge Cindy Haffner gave our Cheers & Challenges group and the New Year's theme with some bling was given to use by Anne (jdmommy) from my Double Dare group.
These silly drinkin' cocktail chicks were sent to me by Redbird55. I chose to paper piece their bodies with my polkadotted dashing dp paper and colored their tail feathers with Copic markers.
I wanted my tiny clear gems to match my larger green one, so I used my olive Copic marker to color them.
If you'd like to play with our CCEE sketch challenge, check out our blog here.

Yikes! Those two are schnockered! Do chickens get schnockered? I think anyone on the face of the earth gets schnockered from time to time! Except us, we may be naughty but we aren't getting schnockered! Hope there is a designated cockle doodle dooer in the barn, cuz these two aren't making it up at the crack of dawn to do their thing!
Oh, the card! I like it! Its awesome! It has schnockered chickens on it!

Love these roosters and I absolutely think those layers of the punches are the coolest thing I've seen in a while!! Gotta remember that!
