My second week in a row entering the challenge! Woohoo! Maybe this will become a habit! This is one of my favorite card layouts, and one of my favorite sets. I got hooked on this set even before I became a demo (my upline demo'd this set and a layout similar to this one).
I used the weathered background, which looks like wood bark to me, and then the close to nature set. I always think close to nature looks like a print that was created by carving layer after layer out of wood and pressing the carving onto paper inbetween layers. (I think there is a name for the technique, just not sure what it is.) The block party press pieces look like the wood carving that creates the print to me.

Elegant and beautiful....you're right, for me it brings Audubon prints to mind! We used to go to Oakley House on a regular basis when I was a child, to see all of the nature prints and beautiful wildlife there.
